About Thomas N. N. Angell

Following more than four decades of law practice, Thomas N. N. Angell established Angell Law, PLLC to serve the people of Dutchess County and surrounding areas in the Mid-Hudson Valley region. As a resident of Dutchess County for more than 50 years, Tom has an affinity for the area and the people residing within it.

Prior to opening Angell Law, PLLC in January 2024, Tom served as the Chief Public Defender of Dutchess County for 11 years. Tom’s career spans over 42 years; he received his Juris Doctor degree, with honors, from Hofstra Law School in 1981.

Tom and his wife, Janet, reside in Stanford, NY on Bentley Farm where they have raised their eight children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and in tending to the farm.
